3. Biodata:
Amir Jan Nasiri was a fromer Taliban Commander in Balkh Province, who in August 2001 together with 25 other Taliban Commanders switched side to Ahmad Shah Massod. Some of them were arrested. The head of the revolting Commanders was Nasiri who escaped his arrest. Dostum negotiated the surrender of the die-hard foreign fighters of the Taliban in Kunduz in December 2001 and Amir Jan Naseri, the former Taliban commander, had helped to negotiate the deal. Amir Jan Nasiri was a commander serving also under Ustad Atta Mohammad (20021102).
