Nadiri_Sayed_DawoodSaid Dawoud Nadiri, son of Sayed Abdul Qadir, was born in 1972 in the Doshi district of Baghlan province. He is the nephew of Said Mansur Nadiri, the leader of Paiwand Milli and a Member of Parliament serving Baghlan province.  He is a Ismaili, a Shia Hazara minority group led by Sayyed Mansoor Naderi. Said Nadiri is a member of the Executive Council of Hezb-e-Paiwand Milli Afghanistan.

Nadiri completed his primary and secondary education in the United Kingdom in 1991. He has a bachelor’s degree in Literature from a Manchester, United Kingdom university, which he earned in 1996. Nadiri was a businessman, importing and exporting cars.

Three members of a family, Sayed Mansur Naderi (Baghlan), his daughter Farkhunda Zahra Naderi (Kabul) and grandson Daud Naderi (Kunduz) have won seats in the Lower House in Wolesi Jirga elections 2010. The winners represent three different provinces.

Sayed Daud is a member of the Naderi clan, a wealthy and powerful family from Baghlan Province. Sayed Daud's cousins, Sayed Mansoor's children are also prominent political figures, Sayed Jafar Naderi is a former militia commander and strongman in Baghlan province, and his other cousin Farkhunda Zahra Naderi was elected to the Wolesi Jirga in Kabul.

The clan also has multiple business interests in Afghanistan including a Land Rover importing business, a mineral water factory, construction companies and a chain of supermarkets.

Armed clashes occurred in the Doshi District of northern Afghanistan's Baghlan Province on 18 May 2003 between followers of Sayyed Mansur Naderi, a leader of Isma'ili Shi'ites in the region, and residents of the area who are Isma'ilis but do not recognize Naderi's leadership, the Hindukosh news agency reported on 20 May. It is possible that Sayyed Daud, a nephew of Naderi's who has been in the region for the past two months, might be responsible for the friction in the Isma'ili community in Baghlan. According to the report, Naderi angered some Isma'ilis by disobeying Sadr al-Din Aga Khan, the leader of the global Isma'ili community. Naderi was allied with current Deputy Defense Minister Abdul Rashid Dostum during the Afghan civil war and the rule of the Taliban. (Amin Tarzi)

Giving him a 12-weeks jail suspended for a year with 100 hours of unpaid work, Judge Fiona Barrie said: "It was disgraceful behaviour by you towards cabin crew. (20190909)
