3. Biodata.
Al-Hajj Amanudin Muzafari, son of Ghawsudin, was born in 1969 in the village of Mozafar in the second district of Kapisa province to a pious and intellectual family. He completed his primary education at Dehat Dasht High School. He completed his intermediate and secondary education at Zia Modaress and Imam Azam Madrassa in Kapisa between 1984 and 1989. In 1989, he joined the Faculty of Islamic Law at the Afghan Islamic University in Peshawar, Pakistan. He graduated in 1995 with high honors. In the same year, he was appointed as a teacher at the Imam Bukhari Madrassa in Kapisa. He served as deputy of the madrassa from 1996 to 1999. When the Al-Biruni University was established in Kapisa in 1999, he joined the faculty as an Islamic law professor. In addition to teaching, he was dean of the Faculty of Islamic Law from 2000 to 2005. Muzafari achieved the level of “pohyalai” (associate professor) and holds second rank in the civil service system. He is skilled in academic, legal, judicial and social affairs. He speaks Dari, Pashto and Arabic fluently. He has written a number of scientific articles. Between 1983 and 1994,  Muzafari lived in Pakistan, where he pursued his higher education. He made the Haj pilgrimage in 2001. He supported the anti-Soviet resistance movement and worked to raise social awareness and promote social and scientific activities during the jihad. He is not affiliated with any political party. Muzafari was indirectly elected to the Meshrano Jirga by winning a majority of votes in the 2005 provincial elections in Kapisa. In December 2005, he was elected as Secretary of the Meshrano Jirga.

He is married and has three daughters and two sons.
