3. Biodata:
Mustafawi_KubraKubra Mustafawi, daughter of Sayed Ahmad, was born in 1968 in Jalrez district, Wardak province.  Mustafawi graduated from Zainab Kubra High School in Iran. She attained her bachelor’s degree in Islamic and social education from Jamiat Ul-Mustafa University in Iran. Currently (2012) she is studying toward her master’s degree in politial science at Azad University, also in Iran. Mustafawi is affiliated with Hezb-e-Ensejam Milli.

Mustafawi was a teacher at the Cultural Organization of Afghanistan in Wardak province, and a teacher in various schools in Kabul.

Mustafawi is the founder and head of the Afghanistan Cultural Organization, which she established in 2002. She worked there until 2005. She has also been on the editorial committee of a magazine and has written several journal articles.

From 2005, Mustafawi was an elected member of the Wardak provincial council, from which she was selected to serve in the Meshrano Jirga for the 2005 term. During this time, she served as the deputy of the Legislative commission, then head of the Provincial and District Councils Commission, and finally on the Internal Security commission.

Kubra Mustafawi is a member of Wolesi Jirga 2010 and bagged 1.129 votes which was suffient for a seat in the Lower House. During the election day she and two other candidates stormed along with dozens of supporters a polling centre west of Kabul, roughed up election officials and ripped up election documents. Esmatullah Yusufi, coordinator for a polling station in the Dashti Barchi area, said about 40 people thundered into the site at 2:30am. The attackers were backers of three candidates, Sultan Ali Paiman, Dr Jawad Ahmadi and Kubra Mustafawi. The contenders also came to the polling station. In the presence of 40 candidate agents, Kubra Mustafawi hit Yusufi with his shoe and called him a fraudster. "He injured my head and called me a fraudster working late into night."
