Fazal Hadi Muslimyar has a home in Chaparhar District near the shrine of Mullah Saheb. As of August 2010 he was the Director of the Dawat party in Nangarhar Province. He is a staunch follower of President Karzai and supported him in all elections. In October 2009 his house was attacked by unidentified gunmen who fired several rockets and at his residence in the eastern province of Nangarhar. He was elected unopposed as chairman of Meshrano Jirga on 20110129.
Relatives of the Senate Chairman Fazal Hadi Muslimyar have been killed during a night raid in Nangarhar province. Afghan Special Forces conducted a raid on Chino village in Dawlatziyo area of Chaparhar late on Monday night, August 5, 2018 . A Militia Forces commander was also among those killed and the victims are all relatives of the Senate Chairman.(20180806)
The Afghan Police forces have arrested Haji Dilawar Haji Delawar, an adviser to Senate Speaker Fazl Hadi Muslimyar, on charges of supporting terrorist groups in capital Kabul, Interior Ministry (MoI) said in a statement. Dilawar was arrested during an operation conducted by the Afghan counter-terrorism forces in Kabul city of Thursday May 22, 2019, the statement said. According to the statement, security forces also seized some fake documents, fake number plates, illegal weapons, 700 thousand Pakistani rupees, an armored vehicle as well as Pakistani ID cards. According to Ministry of Interior, Afghan security agencies were following Delawar almost for a year. At least 10 people, among them three Pakistani nationals, were arrested last week in connection to Delawar’s case, the Ministry of Interior said.(20190524)

Muslimyar said that he had traveled to the United Arab Emirates for medical treatment and that there was no ban on his travel by the Islamic Emirate. Muslimyar, who today returned to Afghanistan after a 20-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), said he had also met with political figures and former government officials during his visit.
