3. Biodata:
Mrs. Nabila Musleh daughter of Abdul Wakil Kohistani, was born in an intellectual family in 1973. She completed Amir Khosraw Balkhi Primary School and Fatima Balkhi and Hashim Barat High Schools in Mazar Sharif, Balkh Province. Muslih obtained her bachelor’s degree in Dari and English Literature from Balkh University.  

After nine years in Germany, Nabila Muslih returned to Afghanistan in 2003.

She has 14 years of national and international work experience in the fields of administration, gender mainstreaming and policy making. She has a bachelor degree in Dari and English Literature from Balkh University and obtains a Masters degree in Public Policy and Public Administration (MPPA) from Kabul University in affiliation Washington State University, USA in December 2010.

She lived for about ten years in Germany, where she received language training and worked for six years in the private sector. She returned to Afghanistan in 2003 and started to work with the German Embassy, United Nation Development Program, World Bank, and GTZ-GM Project, respectively. On secondment from these agencies, she worked in various capacities for the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, including the Ministry of Women Affairs (MoWA), Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL).

Her accomplishments include the introduction of the National Gender Machinery Secretariat (NGMS) as a coordination body for gender mainstreaming activities in MoWA. Likewise, she was the primary author of the Gender Mainstreaming Implementation Strategy and the Implementation Guideline for Female Staff Recruitment for the Horticulture and Livestock Project of MAIL. She is currently working as an Advisor to the Director General of CSMD and serves as a voluntary member of the redesigning team of the MPPA program at Kabul University.

Besides the national languages, she is fluent in English and German.
